Pie crust fries...Cut pie crust (or pie crust scraps) into strips with a fluted pastry wheel. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. Eat "as is" or dip into jam, pie filling, frosting, or any other sweet or fruit dip recipe.
Pumpkin Buckle. It's magic! The crust rises through the top during baking. This is the family's favorite pumpkin pie replacement. When I make this, I cut about 1/2 of a cup of sugar out of the filling mixture and it's still sweet.
