The moment I discovered Jens Herrndorff’s work, I fell for it. I love his creative style, mixing black and white photography with strong colours. Being self-taught, Jens is inspired by photographers from the 60s and 70s such as David Bailey or Guy Bourdin, and he loves the colourfield paintings of artists like Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman. He is also a big fan of the 80s. He started out photographing bands, but in March this year he switched to fashion photography.
