Type 2 2.17.11
Doing well. Like this but not for me.
My son was diagnosed at 5..he's 23. Not sure he'd want it tattooed to his wrist
Y would you tattoo this? Weird
Think its a great idea especially if you are type 1
Many diabetics can't find medical bracelets they like and this is a good idea....for some.
I would rather not see a lot of tattoos on my daughter, but I would LOVE this one.
@Jade Davis- because it can save your life. If your sugar level drops you are gonna be disoriented or go unconscious!, if someone sees this they can call for help and the paramedics can give you the sugar your body needs.
i read about this in my local paper. they have said that depending on the doctor they may disregard it. one doctor had a tat himself on his chest that said "no cpr" they said that they would have to make a universal tattoo for most emts to recognize and look for. i think its a good idea tho.
This is probably the ONLY tattoo I would support my daughter getting lol.
I've been type 1 for 23 years. I would love this because I have neck arthritis and can't wear necklaces. I have carpal tunnel in both wrists, so bracelets bother me. I currently wear two silicone bracelets that state "Diabetes Type 1", but I don't want them to be mistaken for support bracelets. I also heard of a teenager who lost his bracelet while in a car accident. At least with the tattoo, it's not going anywhere.
If you havent been through the worst and learn to love yourself even if you do have diabetes than how c
