Thai Muslim women pray. Central Mosque in the restive province of Pattani
In Bosnia-Hercegovina the niqab is called “feredza”. During Ottoman times some Bosnian women used to wear them, my grandmothers sister was among those who wore it, before communism banned it. Under this picture it says in German “Turk in the Street” but in Bosnian “Muslim in the street”. I think it’s a Bosnian woman wearing a feredza and not a Turkish one.
