Easy way to shuck corn! To avoid shucking corn and trying to get all of the silk off, just microwave your corn 4-5 minutes in the microwave for one ear; or 10 minutes for 3 ears. The husks keep the moisture in and help steam the corn. Cut an inch off the wide end and the corn slips right out…no silks!
This works like magic. Place corn in a microwave. Up to 4 ears of corn at one time. Microwave on high for 8 minutes. (4 minutes if you cook a single cob) Remove from the microwave (use oven mitts---the corn will be hot). Place on a cutting board.Take a sharp knife and cut the end off - about 1 to 2 inches. Pick the ear of corn up and hold at the top. In a shaking movement, shake downward and the corn will slide out leaving the corn-silk in the husk.

How to never shuck corn again ~ Place your corn on the cob in your microwave, cook the corn on full power for 4 to 5 minutes (about 10 minutes for 3 ears). Remove the corn from the microwave using oven mitts and cut about 1 inch off the bottom then hold the corn up from the opposite end and it will easily slide out completely clean... check it out, Im gonna try this!
