I love this wooden box that has been re-purposed as a perfect place to put the garden tools after a long day’s work.

It seems no task is too specific to merit its own French tool. The page from an old 1914 Truffaut catalogue includes both a hand hoe and a "serfouette" for onions. Also available were tools specifically for cultivating and cutting lavender, as well as an asparagus gouge (for cutting blanched asparagus below the soil line), a truffle pick, a cabbage cutter, a blackberry knife...
