This building dates from 1899. It was built as a summer home, like most of the Bed & Breakfasts in Cape May. Like many of the former summer homes, the Inn at 22 Jackson Street also has a resident ghost. They call her Esmerelda. Reports of inexplicable phenomena that were attributed to this ghost go back to the mid-twentieth century. Esmerelda has always been classified as a friendly, fun-loving spirit who seems to have a great fondness for children. Esmerelda "lives" in the turret.
Ward's Funeral Home by sonofgawddog, via Flickr. We stumbled upon this place - in the part of Opelika that has "homes with bars on the windows" (the bad side of town). It is a funeral home that has been abandoned for years. I could not help but take a closer look - sure enough I found a room with coffins. I was almost tempted to find the embalming room, but truthfully I was too freaked out. A "local" said people see haunts aka haints aka ghosts in the windows at night.

The frisky spirit is now said to pinch the rears of waitresses and female patrons. He is also known to drain cell-phone batteries and light fires — sometimes

Inn At Aberdeen, Valparaiso, IN: At the inn you can try to uncork a mystery even ghost trackers have yet to solve. Visitors have reported the presence of a little girl who is said to have moved objects, and even turned on fireplaces, while guests were in their rooms.
Atlanta's Beverly Hills Inn....The 18-room neo-classical inn became a bed and breakfast in 1982, but its first stint was as an apartment building for widowed women in 1929. It is the alleged apparitions of those former residents that both the Atlanta Ghost Hunter and Haunt Analyst Georgia Ghost Hunters have caught on tape.
