How to do beachy waves in less than 5 minutes: 1. Divide your hair into two parts. 2. Twist each section and tie with a hair tie. 3. Run your straighter/flat iron over both of the twist a few times. 4. Untie twists, and you're done.

A 5 Minute Half Up-Do Hairstyle

Split and braid your hair into two sections and tie with a rubberband. Twist the braid away from your face and then twist the flat iron onto your hair in the same direction your hair is twisted. Do not touch rubberband or else you will get that weird crease. Repeat this process twice! After hair is cooled, then take them out and run your fingers through the braid. Saw this on Rachel Ray Show. It gives you nice beachy waves!

get these perfect spirals by doing a one-minute prep the night before.

My new favorite way to create bouncy, natural looking waves - Split damp hair into two sections, twist each section (the tighter the twist, the tighter the wave), twist the sections around each other if desired (will make it wavier), then let it dry - My bf LOVES it when I do my hair this way :)

beach waves

Start curling: Place the flat iron about 3/4 of the way up the strand. Close the flat iron and twist it away from your face one time, then pull it slowly down the rest of the hair strand while it's still clamped shut. It really does work and it's fast!
