Alaskan Dog Sled Mail Carrier, 1910 Dog sleds transported mail in some areas of the northern U.S. and the Alaskan Territory during winter months. Contract carriers used these sleds across Alaska from the late 19th century into the early 1920s. Isolated for much of the year, remote populations sometimes relied on dog sleds for contact with the outside world.

    It's the difficult for me to answer, I accept to pin for that group board because I like in the north of Canada that why I accept and when you write about the history OFF that people I can't answer and my english is not perfect. So I know the pin I found are nice, it's very interesting
