I LOVE this idea! Use ping pong balls to teach your active learner sight words. "Throw 'for' to me. Throw 'so' to me."--could do whole group...throw in the bucket! Love it for word work!

We LOVE this! This is exactly how I started Seth with reading words! I try to keep everything we do FUN when we're learning. I love that you can get the ping pong balls at the dollar store too! I made this a game....every time he gets a word correct, he gets to throw it into the bin! If he gets it wrong he has to set it aside until he gets it right! He LOVES that he's allowed to throw a ball in the house. Bonus for me....he's learned probably 100 words with this "game"!
