Letting feet stay busy..... students can push on the band while sitting in their chair. This will help the child who needs constant movement. (We used these with a couple of our boys last year, really helped)

Visual Solutions to Help Students Stay in Their Own Space~ Some students need behavior clues that they can see. The student who sits at this table kept moving his chair farther and farther away from the activity. To help him stay in one place without continual reminders, the teacher put duct tape on the floor surrounding his chair. Over time the teacher "faded the tape" by picking up small sections of it at a time.
