My aunt gave me this book to read many years ago, I've been obsessed with the characters ever since. This has gotta be my absolute favorite book ever read to date. This book is about 3 generations of women that lived in and through slavery. This book I've read 3 times and will probably read again someday. This book is a wonderful celebration to women and their unwavering strength.
Charles Frazier “Cold Mountain”. I have read this book twice, the first time with my British book club when it was just published and then again when the movie came out and I wanted to get into it again before watching it, a great novel that will live on and be read for generations.
I don't know if it's because I'm a Meg with sisters named Beth and Amy but this book has been important ever since I was very young. I can quote it. My friend Les and I rewrote it. I have read spin offs, including but not only the ones written by Alcott. I've watched the movies. I've visited the Alcott home. I love this book as much now as when I was a child.
