Makes one 12-inch tart Tarte Tatin, the traditional French apple tart that is cooked upside down, is also popular — and beautiful — prepared with anything savory, like aromatic summer tomatoes....Cook cherry tomatoes in butter and sugar. Add a little balsamic, cook till they release their juices. Put in skillet, without the juices(maybe use the juices to make a vinagrette for simple salad) add fresh oregano(or basil!) top with crust, bake, turn out (upside down) on plate, garnish w fresh herbs.
