Maybe its because I’m born and raised new england and I call Massachusetts home but this project moved me when I saw it.  Mary Beth Meehan currently has a series on Brockton, MA called City of Champions. Brockton is an area of border line poverty and blue collar mentality which I thought was delivered very well through her photographs.  Check out the entire body of work here.
