This NOLA > Hurricane shirt is the flagship piece to Evacuteer.org's "Safe City : Strong City" capital fundraising campaign. The non-profit organization seeks $112,000 of private donations and sponsorships to deliver programing that will reduce the amount of carless New Orleanians thinking of riding out the next mandatory evacuation. Fleurty Girl is proud to donate $5 for every shirt sold to Evacuteer.org. For more information go to www.evacuteer.org.... Printed on American Apparel.
Designed by the student team from Edna Karr Secondary School for the Idea Village/Brees Dream Foundation "Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge". We donate $5 from the sale of every #NOLALOVE shirt to afterschool programs in New Orleans to keep kids off the streets. Edna Karr was awarded $10,000 from the Brees Dream Foundation for winning the 2011 Idea Bowl and Google also awarded scholarships to the winning team of Karr students that participated in this design.
When you're at the Mardi Gras, if you're not in the parade, you're watching it from either the sidewalk side or the neutral ground side. Most people usually go to the same side to watch the parades. Whatever side is your side to watch parades from is the shirt you should choose to wear. Represent and pick your side!
