Makes 1 cup of pesto

Produce

3 cloves Garlic
1 heaping cup Kale, stems
1 Of 1 lemon, juice & zest
1 big handful Parsley and/or basil

Baking & Spices

1 pinch Red pepper flakes
1 Salt & pepper

Oils & Vinegars

1/4 cup Olive oil

Nuts & Seeds

1/2 cup Walnuts or pine nuts, toasted

Dairy

1 Optional - grated parmesan or pecorino cheese

Other

optional - drizzle of balsamic vinegar
