She gave me this recipe one day and I didn't believe her at first. I thought she surely forgot an ingredient or two. But, she didn't. This is a moist cake and tasty. No icing is needed so it makes a nice lunchbox dessert.
2 Ingred Lemon Bars -1 box angel food cake mix -2 cans lemon pie filling (the recipe originally called for only 1 can) I used two 21 oz cans of Comstock pie filling ( total of 42 oz) ~Mix dry cake mix & cans of pie filling together in a bowl. May mix by hand. Pour into greased 9x13″ baking pan. Bake at 350F for 25 min or til top starts to brown Sometime it wont brown. Cool on wire rack & sprinkle with powered sugar. It has a melt in your mouth spongy texture.
