Italian Alps, perhaps?

    I think it isn't Trastevere, Rome, Italy, because Trastevere has not wood and castle or church like that. Trastevere is a quartiere in Rome along river Tevere, but there are houses, shops, churches, not a wood. The picture is a mountain site, I suppose. Have a nice day, Antonietta from Italy

    You are absolutely right! I just went with the original pinner had put down. I've been to Rome...and clearly this isn't it. Maybe the Italian Alps?
