There Will Be Time (1972) by Poul Anderson. 1988 cover by Tim Hildebrandt. The cover I read was illustrated by David Wilcox. Different than any book I've chosen to read. Time travel/science fiction -yet I got into it. A little over my head but the author did a great job of giving life to the characters & giving me a reason to enjoy learning about them & the concept of traveling thru history, using present knowledge to forge better futures. Interesting. Completed 2/16/2014.
The astonishing new thriller from the bestselling author of The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol.
Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada, once again looks at the dark side of success in Last Night at Chateau Marmont. When Brooke's husband, Julian, finally hits it big as a musician, the couple is ecstatic. But then Julian is constantly on the road and the couple is followed by paparazzi non-stop. Brooke starts to feel the strain in their relationship as she reads about it in the tabloids. Brooke must then decide what she really wants. A good light read. Completed 2/19/2014.

"Kitchen Privileges" - Mary Higgins Clark's memoir. She awoke early to write as a young widow with five children before going to her day job...guess I have time to write too. Read this book in only 2 1/2 hours - well worth the time!! Very inspiring to see how this busy working mom made time for her writing passion. Reminds me of my own mom. Completed 2-10-2014.
Hollywood in Heels: A Small-Town Girl's Adventures in Tinseltown. Funny. Completed 1/2014.
