MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. $18.50. This is a must have for eyeshadow wearers. I no longer see the point of doing eye makeup without it. Apply it after any primer with a flattish brush, spreading it around (ask someone at MAC to show you) and it makes any eyeshadows you put on top of it, look stunning. It makes your eye makeup look much closer to being professionally done. Surprisingly, it works for most skin tones. "Bare study" is an alternative with shimmer.

Tip: For makeup that stays all day, apply primer before foundation

MAC Bare Study Paint Pot- my favorite eye shimmer!

Tip: Apply. Wait 30 seconds. Apply shadow... for a look that lasts all day!

Why It’s Awesome: If you have skin that gets severely greasy throughout the day, applying milk of magnesia underneath your makeup can help control oil all day. This creates a perfectly matte finish and lasts for the whole day. Just apply it with a cotton pad to the areas on your skin where you get shiny, and then do your usual makeup routine. It has even helped some people with acne. Could be a replacement for Smashbox Anti-Shine #skin #beautyproducts

I've been using these and they are so easy to apply! // paint pots from Estee Lauder

Eye makeup seems to be especially susceptible to melting in the summer heat. MAC Paint Pot ($18.50) crème eye shadow applies super smoothly and sets to a budge-proof finish for a melt-free look.

After you wash your face & apply moisturizer, put a VERY thing layer of m.o.m on, wait for it to dry then apply a primer, then foundation.Your make will last for hours with a nice matte finish, no more shine from oily skin & it helps make your pores look smaller.LOVE IT!
