Faith, I really like so many of your pins. I am just getting into this really, I am so grateful I stumbled upon your WALL at Pinterest. Many THANKS...AND a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU and ALL of your loved ones. Mine are ALL out, so I am taking this time to look at Pinterest. I am up since Christmas, we got our six year old daughter a puppy. I feel like we have a new baby. I am up an awful lot during the wee hours!!! She is worth every minute though, my daughter is so excited about the surprise, she did not think SANTA was going to bring her one. She had been asking for over a year, so we thought, six will be a good age. Sorry for my RAMBLE. Happy Pinning. New Year.
Oh, in my opinion every room has BACTERIA, especially the Bathroom. Lysol is the BEST, for ALL rooms. I always use it on my bed after I strip it and before I put the new clean sheets on it. This Bathroom is GREAT, just really LOVE it...what a difference. I am so glad to see the before and after.
I think it looks beautiful, but I know that guys' aim isn't always great. There's NO WAY you can clean that wood. Lysol may kill a lot of germs, but it doesn't clean.
Great pin ! for more pallets ideas, check out our 1001pallet boards, we have a complete dedicated website !
What about mold? Only bleach kills mold and it grows wherever there is moisture. There is lots of moisture when bathing, and in the summertime here. I allergic to mold and mildew....maybe treated wood? Looks cool, but can't do it in my bathrooms.
Cleaning issues aside - this rocks!
Further thinking says that this is only a "toilet room" as she calls it, so there is no bathing steam/moisture eliminating most mold concerns. The wood could be sealed 24" and down and then be cleanable. Yes, this rocks! That is why I am thinking so hard of how to make it work for me. I will pursue more suggestions from someone in construction to see if I can make it work.
What a neat idea for adding character to a plain little bathroom. Good ideas above for sealing too.
It's really cute. I am for reclaimed product whenever possible.
I would love to make 3 matching twin headboards for our beachie house!
very nice!!! wish I could do something similar in mine.:)
what a difference!
What a neat way to dress up a bathroom wall!
