She works for Benjamin Moore?
Benjamin Moore is one of the really good paints!
@lynndavis I usually use it,but it not the only good one.
I love valspar by lowes...river rock, suede...love textured paint!
These are fantastic paint colors. Benjamin Moore has quality paint. No strong smell either.
Heard you should add a touch of vanilla to the can of paint to cure any strong paint smell.
Benjamin Moore paints are easy to paint with -- they cover and go on smoothly.
Great color pallet
Benjamin Moore all the way! Great colors and great coverage!!
Love Benjamin Moore paint. Just painted a room with it.
Love these colors.
Love your choices.
I am on the fence about painting my one living room BM navy? Too traditional? Not sure, but love the colors you choose.
These colors are all amazing!
I have one navy wall and LOVE IT!!
Love Sabrina and her design style
Not very adventurous.
Not vibrant enough for me.
By keeping the palette neutral her actual design is beautiful.
Sorry, those colors are depressing
Quite right Donna. I'd shoot myself if my home had these colors. If you've ever lived in a country where it is constantly overcast and grey, you'd realize these colors can turn one into a manic depressive. Hey, just my opinion. I might know a little about color. www.kandpinteriors.com
Hers another observation. Americans really hate to criticize. You'd rather just keep quiet. This is how the grey movement has been allowed to be so 'trendy'. I have a step daughter who wants to paint her new baby's room grey. One can only try to offer suggestions as to why this is so bad. But at the end of the day, she has read that this is the latest big thing. Shame on the grey brigade.
Painted my big rooms and hallways with Manchester Tan and LOVE it. Discovered the color in a Traditional Home two years ago. Lots of compliments, too.
Classic colors ready for a solution
These colors are safe, they inspire nothing. They are for people who want a magazine cover room and not one that shows personality or a life lived. I won't even wear khaki it is such a non color.
@Peter Thomas, some of us pick and choose our colors because we like them - not because they are trendy. There is a difference between a dark or cold gray and a light and warm gray. @Donna, as for safe colors, some of us like neutral walls because we like our art or our view or even our furniture to be the star - not the walls. My home is filled with personally curated items, as is full of personality, even though it has mostly neutral wall color.
I agree that a warm light gray can be a great color for a room. I am going with medium charcoal gray with cream and warm pale straw (yellow) for a bedroom. I am very excited to be using these colors for a peaceful, relaxing space yet animated through use of "wonky" striped quilts and other interesting fabric choices. Doesn't have to be cold or boring!
Love Sabrina, have gotten some really great ideas from her. How to hang frames accurately using a paint stick, so simple but genius
There are some people who need a bit of help putting rooms together. Not everyone can choose colors that pop! or even work well together. This is a great help for some of us who want our homes to look like we know how to put them together but really have no clue. Thank you Sabrina, you are a god-send!
I have to have a pale yellow room, preferably a bedroom. I need red and green and
blue but to each his own.
I also collect art, as well as creating it & would never hang it on a neutral wall. If you look around at the great art institutions, the hang the art on colored & silk fabric walls. So, not trying to create dissention by saying I dislike non colors (dreary) and the unique thing about 'taste' is there are no rules but again I think safe color choices go with personality types.
Interesting to see such strong opinions on color. "shame" and "bad"color choices, "non colors". Seriously people it's all about personal taste. I think
Kathy Mehlum Woodman hit the nail on the head for me. My goal is to smile every time I go into a room because I love the way it looks. I live here. I see it every day and it's the only time ever that it's all about me.
Things that showcase the personality of the home owner and are unique are my turnons.
I like over the top and a little quirky.
I love working with Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Grey as a neutral background to juxtapose with saturated color fabrics and carpets
oh yeah.... these are good unless u want more popping color!!! I like painting 1 wall in a room a vibrant hue. ;)
lovely earthens and cools, that's our style!
