Google bulletproof coffee. Part of the benefits of coffee this way is to get the oils from the beans. No filter.
I had one of these and enjoyed it, but I decided it was important to have the perfect coffee for it. I haven't tasted coffee like we used to have in restaurants for a long time.
then and compost the grounds!
What's the best way you've found to keep a pot hot after the first cup?
Good question James. When I use my French press, the first cup is nice & hot, but that's about it.
It's been a few years since I used this pot to make coffee, and I hate to tell you that I've always had a "warm" burner on my stoves, which is where it sat. A warmer plate would be the best bet and on my board "Smell the Coffee" there is one of these pots sitting on a separate burner. Let me know if you figure it out. I'm using an Aeropress right now and it makes one cup at a time. Cheap and good!
Thanks. I put it directly on the glass range burner set on very low. Think I'll go back to 1-2 cups at a time.
Have you ever seen the Aeropress coffeemaker? You can see it on amazon.com. But it takes a little more time and you may not like that part of it.
