exquisite - she reminds me of the children's book - "Miss Hickory". I loved that book as a child - a doll made from a body-shaped tree twig, a nut head and she sewed her clothes with a "pine needle" & glorious leaves, velvety moss, etc. She came alive when the sap began to run and had to fend for herself when her little girl "owner's" family moved away. WONDERFUL story to stimulate children's imaginations!
Needle felted fairy sitting on a twig. I would like to try to make these with the grands. LOL
This mobile is about 15" long and it has a diameter of approx. 14". The little fairies are about 3,5" and 4,0" high and each humming bird about 3". The fairies, the birds, the leaves and the flowers are made of pure sheep's wool. The fairy-wings are made of tissue paper. I have fastened them, with much patience, with nylon strings on a beech twig.
