The Miss Native American. USA crown was designed, beaded and created by Michaela Dennis of the Shuswap First Nations of Chase, BC, Canada. Dennis currently resides in White Swan, in the U.S. State of Washington. She is well-known in the Native American community for her hand drum, and contemporary approach in traditional singing. She enjoys beading, traveling to Pow-wows, and singing backup to drum groups such as "Black Fish, Rockhill, and Sky Eagle."
