Some things you plant will last all season. But others? You'll want to plant in succession to keep them coming throughout the season! #garden

"One cannot plant an apple tree and expect apples—two apple trees are required. Why two? An apple tree is not capable of pollinating itself and requires another variety of apple tree or a crabapple tree to produce the best fruit." Read more: www.doityourself....

Philodendron ...the best, beautiful, almost no care, 1 branch will grow a new plant if put in water, in the background of most 40s, 50s movie sets.... whats not to luv!!

Cut the bottom off a plastic pot to contain invasive plants & bury in the ground. I have been doing this for a few years & works great for containing plants that tend to spread, but that I still want to plant in the garden. This also works good for planting a plant in an area that tends to get filled with roots etc. from other plants. I will use a larger pot so that the plant can spread it's roots and grow deeper roots, but keeps other tree roots from choking out the one I planted.
