Tell Me Lies by Jennifer Crusie. This is one of Ms. Crusie's earlier novels. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best book I have ever read. There were some plot elements that I thought were sort of unbelievable. However, if you are looking for a decent distraction this book is will do.

I've read this numerous times and always find something I've missed. One of his best!

Second Grave on the Left (Charley Davidson, Book 2): Darynda Jones. Ms. Jones did not disappoint with this sequel. Again we find smart-ass PI Charley Davidson in sticky situations. I love that these stories are action-packed, but also hilarious!! I can't wait to read the next installment.

I'm a big John Grishman fan, and two of the early ones - The Pelican Brief and A Time to Kill - are still my favorites.
