Dear JetsetjP - the value to me is PERSONAL. It's sentimental. It belonged to my grandmother in the 1940's. And then I used it when I was in high school. I WANTED to re-finish it. I don't care about "value" in monetary terms. To me, the VALUE is in having it fit into my current home and space and design and being able to USE it in modern times, while keeping that sentiment. THAT, to me, is INVALUABLE!!!
Mine is really beat up, been thinking along these lines.
