1.Blow dry hair straight. 2. Section hair into two parts, top half into a loose ponytail with a small elastic band. 3. Twist the ponytail into a loose bun and bobby pin down. 4. With the bottom half of your hair, use a medium barreled curling iron and twist big strands around the barrel letting hair sit on the iron for about 10 seconds - just long enough to curl, not scorch, your hair. 5. Pull out thick strands around your face from the top of your hair and spray with a medium hold hairspray.
How to use a 5/8" curling iron.
1. Set all hair with big hot rollers for 10 min. and let loose once they're cool. 2. Comb hair smoothly back and to one side on the back of your head. Pin hair flat down to one side. 3. Start twisting up, counterclockwise so you are twisting over the bobby pins already in place. Twist all the way up, pinning as you go (tip: crisscross the pins, the twist will stay better). 4. Once secure, fluff out the curls coming out of the top. 5. Pull out a couple of pieces around your face and spritz with.
Emma Stone's ponytail hairstyle. The key components of this hairstyle includes cool long bangs parted in the middle, long loose wisps in front of ears, and a crown that's been teased and pushed forward to add a fun bump of volume up top. The easiest way to copy this ponytail? Use a barrette to secure the top section of your hair first, holding the bump in place, and then pull the rest of your hair into a high pony.
