"Spray your weeds with diluted vinegar...not only will it kill them, but the plants and soil love it. Read how here, and see the before and after pictures. I just learned about this in my winter gardening class the other day and the teacher has done it for years."
killing the weeds and not the flowers with this product
Use vinegar as a weed killer. Acetic acid is what makes vinegar a weed killer. Vinegar is a non-selective plant killer; it draws all the moisture out of the leaf. It is fast. Spraying full strength vinegar on a plant in full sun will often result in a withered, brown plant in only a few hours or by the next day in tougher plants.
