Asparagus pea soup 1 bunch asparagus (about one pound) 1 to 2 cups peas (fresh or frozen) 2 gloves garlic salt and pepper to taste Boil water. Throw in asparagus tips and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the asparagus with a slotted spoon and place them in a food processor. bring water back to a boil. cook peas for 5 minutes.
