First get a bucket of warm water, not too hot, with a cup full of epsom salt. Allow salt to dissolve before placing your feet inside. Once the salt has dissolved, place your feet inside of the water, allow to soak for up to 30 minutes. 2 Remove feet from water after 3o minutes. Scrub gently with toothbrush to remove all loose, dry skin. This only takes a small amount of time. The skin should be very easy to remove. Rinse feet with water and pat dry with towel.
Olive Oil Sugar Scrub - or feet!
The fruit acid loosens dead skin cells. Cut a fresh orange in half and squeeze the juice of one half into a bowl. Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup olive oil and then blend into a moisture-rich scrub. Next, rub the exposed side of the other half of the orange over knees, elbows, heels, and any other dry spots. Last, rub in the sugar mixture to slough off dead skin. Rinse with warm water and pat skin dry
Always wanted to get rid of those nasty calluses on your feet? Well, now you can! Just by filling a bucket or tub with luke warm water, 1/2 cup of baking soda, and 1/2 cup of salt (any). Mix and then add your feet. You will soak your feet for 20 minutes. When your time is up, you need to get your pumice stone, or whatever tool you use for exfoliating your feet and gently rub the callus. When your skin starts shedding on your tool, then return your feet back to the water. Easy!
For insomnia? I must try!! Pinner says: Every night before I go to bed, I soak my feet for 10-20 min. in the hottest water I can stand w/Epsom salts and/or essential oils. I just sit on the side of the tub and read with my feet in the bathtub. Pat dry, then massage my lavendar After Bath lotion and go to bed - it REALLY helps sleep! (and I'm hoping it helps make my feet prettier for sandals!)
