nyc, top of the empire state building, one of my fave pics from my trip! you can see the statue of liberty on the right, farthest island back, very tiny! the tallest building straight in the middle is one of the freedom towers, near the 9/11 memorial.

The Hindenburg floats past the Empire State Building in 1936. It would explode in a fireball the following year.
