Does it peel off?
Wow these would be perfect for a country theme wedding or party.. too cute
Even I can do this!
Would be neat to try on wine bottles too!
adorable....and very elegant
totally doing this
a must try..
I love this!
love this idea, thank you
Can use glitter glue or plain goopy glue too. I hate my hot glue gun it stinks. ;-)
Love it! Have to try this!
this is such a great idea and so cute
Tried this with a gun! Its so hard to make it neat. Going to have to try a glue pen!!
@kate grey this could be our next project!
I could not get my letters neat enough, plus the glue gun was all stringy! Any advice? Once you paint it shows every flaw.
tried this with the glue gun the other day...didnt turn out good at all...think i need to find something else to use other than a glue gun
might have to try this!
I am going to try this with those little bottles of fabric paint that you buy for arts and crafts. They have a fine tip on the bottle and one would think it would be easier than glue. Idk if it will work, but just a thought!
has anyone tried puffy paint? I think that's what Vicki B. means.
tried it, not to cute and I am creative. Just wasn't that easy to make it look good.
I bet it is difficult to make it look good Karen...trying to get the design just like you want it with the hot glue.
right Kimberly, I'm not knocking the originator's idea, just saying I am super creative and it didn't work for me. Maybe Susan ^ has an idea with the puff paint. I will try it. I did spray paint the wine bottles with paint at xmas time and they looked awesome! The idea with rubberbands and paint on here.
I wonder if you could use Elmer's glue instead of the hot glue gun? Cause I think it would be harder to write with the gun.
Love this idea!
I did it, worked great. I taped a piece of paper with the writing on the back to trace with the glue gun :)
@Carol Peringer Thought you might like this one...
Here's the link to where this came from: http://go.tipjunkie.com/hm/...
I did this with my wine bottles it is hard to write with the hot glue gun you have to have a steady hand. I just practiced a few times and wrote on the bottle with a pencil what I wanted.
So easy !!!
Puffy paint works too
So easy and pretty nice house warming gifts
This is so cool, can't wait to try it..
on my to-do list
Oh!! Fantastic! I've been looking for a simple way to label my own kitchen jars :-))
@Jazmyn Hardy you should try this with the jars on top of your cabinets
I like how this looks, but just be careful, anyone who tries this, that hot glue will tend to peel off glass over time (especially if it exposed to cold temps). Just a friendly note of caution from lots of hot glue experience :]
can you use elmer's glue instead?
