Write notes back forth with your child. Leave it on their bed, when they have a chance, they write back and leave it on your bed. How neat would it be to have those notes to look back on? With SONS...I can only imagine how special this will be! I must do this. cute-home-projects

Mama and Me Journal~ So doing this as soon as he gets a little better grip on reading... Write a note to your child in the notebook, and place it on their bed. Can be serious, silly, funny, or anything really, just keeps the communication open. Then the child writes back, and places the notebook on mom's bed. I love this idea!

My family loves to write love letters to each other. Those special notes are always a bit of sunshine in an ordinary day.

This woman has a journal for each of her children, filled with letters to the child and thoughts about them. She started each one the day they found out they were having the child. What a neat idea! This could be a great college graduation gift to the child!

Seat belt pillows....great idea!

Maybe, when I have a daughter, I could make her one of these. And when she needs to talk to me, but is too afraid, she'll write me a note and put it in here. And I can write one back.

frame love notes, memories, etc.

Write your child a letter each year and add some $ to the envelope. Then give your child all the envelopes for graduation. A keepsake and some cash!
