Hassleback potatoes are divine, but I would recommend using only butter and seasoning. So naughty, but so nice. Possibly my favourite!

these are really good and easy to do, I added Cheese to it the last few minutes of cooking them. If you are in a hurry par boil for a few minutes before cutting. and I always leave the skin on them.

i place a chopstick on each side of the potato when slicing . . . it prevents one from accidentally slicing all the way through . . . great with thin slices of onions between layers sprinkled with rosemary
Good tip about the chopstick Amy I have sliced right through a few potatoes when making these. will use a chopstick or wooden skewer next time.
