1. Start to boil some water. 2. Pour baking soda down the drain. This has the ability to neutralize fatty acids and it will eat away grime while you are waiting for the water. 3. Once the water has reached a full boil, pour it down the drain. 4. Let the water and baking soda do it's work for 10 minutes. 5. After 10 minutes, pour 1 cup of bleach down the drain to completely kill any remaining mildew or bacteria. Repeat this process every few months to prevent the gunk from building up.
