this really does work! Put whole corn, husk and all in the microwave for 4 minutes. Then cut off the end and squeeze corn out. The silks come off with the husk and corn is cooked well. 2 ears for 4 1/2 minutes
Easy way to shuck corn! To avoid shucking corn and trying to get all of the silk off, just microwave your corn 4-5 minutes in the microwave for one ear; or 10 minutes for 3 ears. The Easiest Method for Corn on the Cob! Microwave ears of corn, 4 minutes per ear used. The corn will steam and cook right in the husk. When done, cut about an inch off the bottom of the full husk and ear and then while holding the top, shake the ear of corn out of the bottom. It will be entirely clean of silk!
