oil pan from wal-mart for $9 + 3m wall hangar thingies... = magnetic wall board. our fridge is stainless steel so we can't put magnets on it, and this is perfect!

Buy a cheap frame and have a piece of sheet metal cut to size. Use adhesive or Velcro on the back to adhere to wall. We have a stainless steel fridge, and magnets won't stick, so this is where my daughter plays in the kitchen while I'm cooking :)
