Without a doubt, one of the best things I ever did for my skin was to start making my own scrubs. The stuff at the store is chock full of stuff that's bad for your skin - all sorts of chemicals and alcohol. Yuck. Do your skin a favor... Go out and buy a mason jar. Add coarse sea salt, olive oil, almond oil, and if you can find it - jojoba oil. Use daily. Love your skin again. I add the olive oil and jojoba oil first to the salt and then add as much almond oil as I need to make it smell great. W
Mix sugar with oil olive oil. To make it smell nice, add the essential oil of your choice. Rub onto skin and rinse off in the shower. You'll remove all those dead #skin cells and reveal soft, supple skin as smooth as a baby's bottom. #beautiful_skin #skin_care
Breakfast For Your Skin Scrub: Okay, this is the best scrub I've made...I'm not gonna lie. I love it so much, I keep one jar in my bathroom for my face and another on the kitchen counter for my hands. Here's what you do... add 1/2 cup of oats to a food processor. Grind until it's powdery. Add 3/4 cups of brown sugar (dark or light is fine). Mix again. Then add 1/2 cup of jojoba oil, 1/2 cup of sweet almond oil, 1/2 t of vanilla, 1/2 t Vitamin E oil. Mix again. That's it. This scrub smells delicious and will make your skin feel like a teenager all over again. I'm almost 40 and my skin still looks pretty young, so I'm a walking testament that this works! Now, if you want a thicker paste, like in the photo...use less oil. If you want it slightly soupier, use my recipe. I've been making it slightly soupier since my first batch becauseI find it hydrates better and my skin stays silkier longer, even after I rinse the paste off. Please let me know what you think! I appreciate the repins. Have a "beautiful" day! :) ~ Constance
