Torta de Azeitão is a traditional cake from Azeitão, municipality of Setúbal. Essentialy made of eggs, these pies are one of the icons of these this region. With a slight taste of lemon and cinnamon they are a delicious example of portuguese traditional pastry.

Portuguese say they know 1001 ways of cooking Codfish. That is far from truth but we can actually count about 600 ways. Portuguese have a long relationship with dried codfish. Bacalhau, as we call it, was caught in the cold waters of the North Sea and salted to preserve it trought the long journey back. You really have to taste it... Several times... 600 or so...
