Never Shuck Corn Again 1- Get out your corn on the cob and place it in your microwave. Cook the corn on full power for 4 minutes per ear 2- Remove the corn from the microwave using oven mitts and cut about 1 inch off the bottom. 3- Hold the corn up from the opposite and it will easily slide out completely clean.
this really does work! Put whole corn, husk and all in the microwave for 4 minutes. Then cut off the end and squeeze corn out. The silks come off with the husk and corn is cooked well. 2 ears for 4 1/2 minutes
Easy way to shuck corn! To avoid shucking corn and trying to get all of the silk off, just microwave your corn 4-5 minutes in the microwave for one ear; or 10 minutes for 3 ears. The husks keep the moisture in and help steam the corn. Cut an inch off the wide end and the corn slips right out…no silks!
