PTM FUN FACT: In PTM's City Park near the play vending cart hangs the creation of internationally renowned artist & Philly native Sam Maitin. The whimsical design inspires young visitors to put their own stamp on this work of art by manipulating colorful plastic elements at the base of the piece.
This past weekend, PTM celebrated to re-opening of our ShopRite Supermarket! The beloved exhibit with its sparkling new checkout lanes and shopping baskets, will now feature shopping lists to help children plan menus, quick response (QR) codes with detailed nutritional information, racks with magazines and flowers and MUCH MORE!
FUN FACT: Did you know the animals on PTM's gorgeous Dentzel Carousel were built in the "Philadelphia-style," meaning they were sculpted in vibrant, life-like detail? Be sure to check out the various animals, including pigs, goats, cats, rabbits, and of course, horses, the next time you take a spin!
