Homemade pet jelly fish. that's about the neatest thing EVER. I did this with my 3rd, 4th and 5th grade class. Told them to bring in a bottle and a bag. Some of the kids brought it in and the rest of the kids thought it was dumb. After we did this project, the kids who thought it was dumb, didn't think so anymore. Kids who made them, named them and love them at home now.

Every month or two, give the pipes a good preventative cleaning to keep them clear of grease, oil, and hair clogs. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain, followed by 1/2 cup white vinegar. The mixture will foam up. Let stand for a few minutes to dissolve fatty acids, then pour boiling water down the drain to wash out any clogs. This really works!

Look closely: students folded white paper in half, wrote their names in cursive, and cut out around their names - this formed the body. They added the head, arms,and legs then mounted their "name skeletons" on black construction paper! Notice that the top left name is NOELLE. :) Love it!
