    I would imagine fire codes prohibit things like curtains in most schools. I have never seen any classroom with them.

    @Tracy Shannon It depends on where you live. Has been banned in some areas around here since 2001 but I know of some schools/districts where it is still allowed. All depends on insurance costs and how closely the school follows the insurance guidelines.
