First Grade Fresh: Let's give them something to talk about...
Very cute idea. You can have the student then make their OWN true/false statements! Have each student write 5 sentences, including facts about themselves and also things that are made up. Then, each student can read their sentences to the class and the class can decide if they are true of false.
Lesson Plan SOS: First Test of the School Year!
What a great picture for the first day of school. Could put your class name in the middle of the heart and use to decorate your door. I love it!...Fun idea for a teacher gift, frame picture to give at end of year. @Heather Creswell Creswell Creswell Creswell Creswell Born to party (Sarah Cutler) this would be a sweet idea for mrs. sumpter. do it on a day there's a sub :)
What a great team building activity! This would be neat to frame all year and then send home a pic with the kids at the end of the year, too. Could put on construction paper and let them sign each others as a memory page.

ctbaker in the acres: 14 Lovely Days: Day 2
Beginning of the new year (as in: do these in January!) goals...LOVE! It's always helpful to revisit goals often and set new ones if needed. Most students are asked to set goals at the beginning of the school year, but many are not asked to revisit and revise those goals in a meaningful way throughout the year.
