"The "Star Spangled Banner" was made in this home by Mary Pickersgill of Baltimore. Because of the size of this flag which was a battle flag to fly over Fort McHenry, Mary had to do it pieces and then lay it out from front to back of her home to get it put together. This is a very charming home to visit."
