Oh please by Phil Bradley, via Flickr. The original of this read 'Buy me a Victory Bond' in the blocks at the bottom. Poster by Joseph Ernest Sampson. I'm not sure of the exact date, but it is a WW1 item, and I'm not entirely sure who it was produced for, although the artist was British. Given that all the other WW1 posters are now copyright free, I'll assume the same with this one. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
ARTHUR! Who remembers this gem? Favorite line: "Jules Verne, HG Wells, And Ray Bradbury: You can take 'em home So you don't have to Read 'em in a hurry."
Rocket Writes a Story: Tad Hills - Make your own "Word Wall"!
How Rocket Learned to Read~writing in pudding "mud" - adorable teaching idea!
Teacher reads the book "How Rocket learned to read" at the beginning of the year. Once students became amazing readers they each got to pick out a puppy, name it, and then teach it sight words; too cute!
