POETRY: What I've Stolen, What I've Earned by Sherman Alexie (Hanging Loose Press)
What I've Stolen, What I've Earned
A wealthy woman moves into a small town with big plans... It's alleged that this book is loosely-based on the American Girl Doll entrepreneur, Pleasant Rowland. And while the author maintains this was never her intention, her lead character is a woman of uncannily similar accomplishments. A fun read that sometimes takes a long and winding stroll through an eclectic cast of characters, but ultimately wraps itself up in a satisfying ending.
