remember to do this
So sweet---"A mother kept items from her sons pockets for years and presented the lost treasures as a wedding gift. this is one of the coolest things! So cute for all you moms of boys! I am going to do this. It makes me cry just thinking of presenting these in a few years." @Carley Powell Powell Turkmani...something to keep in mind for 'someday'.....!!! ;) Love this idea!
A mother kept items from her sons pockets for years and presented the lost treasures as a wedding gift. I love this!!
YEARLY INTERVIEWS 1. What is your name? 2. How old are you? 3. What is your mom’s name? 4. What does your mom do during the day? 5. What is your dad’s name? 6. What does your dad do during the day? 7. What is your favorite color? 8. What is your favorite thing to eat? (what don’t you like to eat?) 9. Who are your friends? 10. What is your favorite song? Can you sing it for me? 11. What is your siblings name?
30 Questions to ask your spouse...fun! One Pinner said: We were laughing through our entire meal and learned so much about our childhoods. Highly recommend! I would pick a question then he would answer it then I would answer it. Then he would pick a question etc. This would be fun for long drives
I AM SO DOING THIS! "Following my high school graduation ceremony my dad handed me a bag with a copy of Oh the Places You’ll Go, by Doctor Seuss inside. I open it up and on the first page I see a short paragraph written by none other than my kindergarten teacher. My dad tells me “Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten I’ve gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book."
Take digital shots of your child's art work, then upload to snapfish to make a picture book. You can toss the piles of old artwork, but save the book.
I absolutely LOVE this printable grocery list and meal planning sheet combo. It is so handy to jot down what you're cooking, what ingredients you need, then add other items. It functions as a grocery list at the store and a reminder on the fridge of what to cook that week! Meal planning really helps cut down on extraneous spending and promotes healthy eating!
This is exactly how I need to make my grocery list every week.. Now I have a printable to use!!
for the diaper bag.....very smart.
Put a tiny bit of toothpaste into a small cup, mix in one teaspoon baking soda plus one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, and half a teaspoon water. Thoroughly mix then brush your teeth for two minutes. Remember to do it once a week until you have reached the results you want. Once your teeth are good and white, limit yourself to using the whitening treatment once every month or two. - And to think I almost shelled out $ 40 at the store for some whitening strips!
ok seriously should have already thought of this!!! Use empty Lysol wipes containers to keep plastic grocery bags! Keep in your car for wet swimsuits, dirty diapers, trash, etc. Totally portable, and she even shows you how to put the bags in so they pop out one after another!
Every school year take another picture and watch the changes.
Make a sign & a table with blank paper & note cards for people to write a special letter or birthday message. For 1st birthday ideas could be: when you heard about baby's arrival, your first meeting, early impressions, future wishes, a note of blessing, your favorite photograph(s) with comments. Could make a tradition for each year or just do for 1st birthday & do a time capsule.
Time-Lapse Video. From Birth to 12. I guess it's never too late to start this with my one year old. Definitely doing this with my next baby, too!
Emergency Preparedness. This particular blog focuses on important documents. There are many others subjects. Everyone should do this!
